Gender and Sexuality are increasingly being considered in the design and implementation of health research studies, however, institutional and individual misconceptions still permeate these designs in ways that do not reflect people’s lived experiences.
Participants in this workshop will learn more about gender and sexuality in general, how to make data collection instruments more inclusive, and the importance of using inclusive language and frameworks in all aspects of the research process.
