McMaster Midwifery Research Centre (MMRC) Inaugural Annual Report
Formerly established in July 2018, the first annual centre report from the McMaster Midwifery Research Centre is now available.
McMaster Midwifery Research Centre (MMRC) was officially established in July 2018. As Canada’s first centre focussed on midwifery research, the MMRC is a place for growth of the midwifery profession in Canada and internationally. We are pleased to have this centre to house the foundational groundwork done in the midwifery field and ongoing endeavours to support midwifery research. We strive to increase research capacity within the profession and the growing number of trainees and researchers who are making contributions to the knowledge and evidence of midwifery.
In our inaugural annual centre report, we reflect on the mission and vision of the MMRC. This report outlines on our operational procedures and highlights our future plans and strategic vision. We examine the novel research from our dedicated members and highlight the impact of the work that continues to push the midwifery and perinatal fields forward.
